Dear SFTS Community,
I am writing to ask for your prayers and active support for Charles and Amal Marks and their children at the death and resurrection in Christ of Charles’ mother in Savannah, Georgia. Charles will in going to Savannah this week to makes plans related to the funeral.
As I learn more about how we can be supportive and when the service will be held, I will do my best to keep you posted. In the meantime, please remember Charles and his family with your love, cards, and prayers.

Wonder if "our" class could think of something special to honor Charles' mother?
I think that would be a great idea! Any ideas?
Okay, I don't mean to make light of a serious situation, but do we really say, "death and resurrection in Christ" when we announce people's deaths? I know our memorial services are in witness to the resurrection, but it just sounds so weird the way it's written here...maybe I missed that part of Greg's class. :)
I am SOO there with you Aimee! I thought it was pretty wierd language, myself, then again it is Phil!
